Homemade Sugar-free Applesauce
Applesauce is a great substitute for eggs in baking. Its actually my favourite substitute when I’m baking something sweet. I’m not a baking expert but I feel like applesauce adds a little more lift than many other egg replacers. Not quite the same as eggs of course but still a great alternative. I have searched far and wide to find a commercial bought applesauce that does not contain any sugar and have not found any yet. So I settle for making my own, which I then freeze and thaw out whenever I need it. Its really easy to make and quite delicious. I don’t understand why there is a need for extra sugar, apples are sweet enough as it is and become even sweeter when you cook them. I am sharing this as I will most likely be linking to it in many of my baking recipes. Enjoy
